STABILIZATION OF GASOLINE-ETHANOL MIXTURE
The presented work examines issues of stabilization of gasoline-ethanol mixture obtained on the basis of bioethanol produced from Isabella grape variety in Bashkortostan. It is indicated that the composition of bioethanol includes up to 88 % by weight of ethyl alcohol, 5 % by weight of butanol, 3.6 % by weight of hexanol and 2.8 % by weight of water, while technical ethanol according to State Standard contains 4 % by weight of water. When adding technical ethanol to gasoline fractions, stratification of the mixture is observed, which requires the use of a stabilizer such as isobutanol, the amount of which depends on the ambient temperature.
