ECR Spotlight – Jeffrey Spear
ECR Spotlight is a series of interviews with early-career authors from a selection of papers published in Journal of Experimental Biology and aims to promote not only the diversity of early-career researchers (ECRs) working in experimental biology but also the huge variety of animals and physiological systems that are essential for the ‘comparative’ approach. Jeffrey Spear is an author on ‘ Comparison of ankle dorsiflexion using XROMM and external angular kinematics in a quadrupedally walking macaque’, published in JEB. Jeffrey is a Postdoctoral Scholar in the lab of Zewdi Tsegai at University of Chicago Department of Organismal Biology and Anatomy, USA, investigating the diverse ways that mammals move and how that diversity evolved.
