Situación de aprendizaje interdisciplinar basada en la educación de aventura: desafío en la naturaleza

Introduction and Objective. Organic Law 3/2020 incorporates education in the environment as a key axis of the curriculum, promoting learning experiences based on challenges in nature. Within this framework, a cross-disciplinary approach based on learning situations (SoL) is developed, favouring applied teaching. Methodology. This study presents a Learning Situation (LS) inspired by the Adventure Education (AE) model of Baena-Extremera (2011), integrating Physical Education, Geography and History, and Biology and Geology, with the aim of promoting experiential and meaning-ful learning. The intervention was carried out with 269 students in 1st and 3rd ESO (males = 48.6%; females = 51.4%) and was structured in three phases. In the first phase, the principles of AE were introduced. In the second phase, students designed an adventure route through project-based learning. Finally, in the third phase, the designed route was implemented, allowing the acquired knowledge to be applied in a real context. Results. The results show improvements in the students' satisfaction, motivation and intention to practice. Conclusions. This proposal represents a curricular innovation in Physical Education, encouraging active learning, teamwork and connection with the natural environment, which contributes to the students' integral development.
