Research on the Evolution of Ice and Snow Tourism Consumption Based on Big Data Technology

In the context of the “post-Olympic” era, winter sports tourism consumption has shown significant structural changes. Using data from the WoS database on tourism platform consumption, social media text data, and industry statistics from 2006 to 2025, this study employs CiteSpace knowledge graph analysis tools in conjunction with bibliometric methods to systematically examine the evolution of big data technology in winter sports tourism consumption from January 2006 to February 2025. The study traces the historical development path of winter sports tourism consumption and provides an in-depth analysis of current consumer market characteristics, behavioral patterns, and trends. It finds that winter sports tourism consumption has evolved from sightseeing to experiential, from regional to global, and from single products to integrated “winter sports+” business models. Big data technology plays a crucial role in accurately capturing consumer demand, optimizing product supply, and enhancing service quality. The findings provide theoretical support and practical references for supply-side reforms and high-quality development in the winter sports tourism industry.
