Innovation and Implementation of Situational Teaching Method Based on Career Growth Stories

In modern career education, undergraduates face significant pressure when it comes to career choices and planning, yet traditional teaching methods fail to effectively equip students with decision-making skills in complex workplace environments. This gap presents an urgent challenge to current career education approaches. This paper proposes an innovative situational teaching method based on career growth stories, designed to address this problem. By leveraging interactive techniques such as role-playing, decision-making simulations, and situational analysis, the method immerses students in real-world scenarios to enhance their career planning and decision-making capabilities. The approach uses multimedia technology to further enrich these scenarios, allowing for personalized and dynamic learning experiences. First, the scenarios are tailored to students' individual interests and career aspirations. Then, real-time feedback is provided to adjust the learning process, ensuring that students master the necessary skills at an optimal pace. Finally, dynamic adjustments are made based on continuous observation and student interaction. Experimental data reveals significant improvements in key areas. For example, students showed an average improvement of 25.6 points in decision-making ability, with the largest increase of 35 points. Additionally, participation scores saw an average rise of 27.5 points. These results confirm the effectiveness of the situational teaching method in enhancing students' decision-making, career planning, and participation skills. The study highlights the advantages of integrating computer technologies and interactive teaching strategies, showing that they not only enhance student engagement but also better prepare them for real-life career challenges.
