Research on the Optimization Path of College English Translation Course Based on Smart Teaching Platforms
With the rapid development of information technology, smart teaching platforms based on big data, artificial intelligence, and cloud computing have brought new opportunities to college English translation courses. However, traditional teaching methods still face challenges such as a lack of diversity in instructional approaches and insufficient teacher-student interaction. An optimal resolution is suggested in this paper to tackle these various issues that have been raised, focusing on English translation courses in colleges, using smart teaching platforms as a basis. This solution brings together an array of advanced technologies that are quite modern and complex. Firstly, some algorithms that relate to Natural Language Processing (NLP) are utilized for analysis in real time, which helps in identifying errors both at the grammatical level and also at the semantic level, which is crucial. Secondly, what is known as deep learning algorithms, especially the Transformer models, is implemented for the purpose of evaluating the quality of translations with accuracy, which is to say, it focuses on linguistic correctness as well as cultural relevancy, which are both significant. Lastly, the algorithms related to reinforcement learning find application here, used to improve the feedback that is personalized and also the recommendations for learning resources, and all this is based on the historical data concerning students’ performance. By integrating these computer technologies with traditional teaching models, the platform enables precise content delivery, real-time interactive feedback, and automated scoring, significantly improving the level of personalized and intelligent instruction and promoting innovation in translation teaching practices.
