Construction and Empirical Analysis on Research Performance Evaluation Indicator System of Universities

Research performance is frequently employed as a metric to reflect the quality of university research. The evaluation of research performance is the baton that guides university research. The scientific and reasonable research performance evaluation system is conducive to the accurate measurement of research performance and better plays the role of the baton. Consequently, the scientific evaluation of universities' research performance has become a subject of interest for numerous scholars. In addressing this concern, a research performance evaluation indicator system applicable to universities has been constructed. The weights of the research performance evaluation indicators are calculated, and the research performances of universities in various regions are empirically analyzed. It concludes with the proposition of countermeasures and recommendations.
