Development and Application of an Employment Quality Evaluation System for University Undergraduate Majors
Accurately evaluating and monitoring the employment quality of college graduates has been the focus and difficulty of education quality evaluation. The article adopts factor analysis and non-parametric test to construct an index system for evaluating the employment quality of undergraduate graduates of colleges and universities, which consists of 5 dimensions and 10 indexes, and establishes an index model for evaluating the employment quality of undergraduate majors. The model conducts empirical research and analysis on 46 undergraduate colleges and universities, 254 majors, and 92,927 graduates, and finds that there are problems such as imbalance in employment quality among majors, large differences between disciplines, and overall quality to be improved. Based on the results of the model, it can be concluded that colleges and universities in the region should focus on cultivating advantageous disciplines and specialties and improving the talent cultivation process of specialties with low employment quality in order to improve the overall employment quality.
