On new approximations of a functional equation having monomials

Using a different direct method from the previous studies and the Banach fixed point theorem, we investigate the stability problem of a functional equation having monomials. The results of this paper improve the main results of [3] , [12] , [18] , [23] , [24] . Some examples are included for comparison with previous studies.

Abstract

Using a different direct method from the previous studies and the Banach fixed point theorem, we investigate the stability problem of a functional equation having monomials. The results of this paper improve the main results of [3] , [12] , [18] , [23] , [24] . Some examples are included for comparison with previous studies.
