Full-Duplex Cooperative NOMA in Integrated Sensing and Communication System
A system with a micro base station (MiBS), which communicates and senses simultaneously, is considered in this paper. In this setup, the MiBS not only senses targets but also acts as a decode-and-forward full-duplex relay. In order to efficiently use the spectrum, we incorporate non-orthogonal downlink transmission with finite block lengths between the macro base station and IoT devices. Our evaluation focuses on key performance indicators like outage probability and the likelihood of accurately detecting sensed targets such as probabilities of detection and false alarm. Through simulations, we explore how the sensing and communication operations at the MiBS influence each other.
