Design and Performance of a Multiband Monopole Antenna for IoT and ISM Applications

The principal objective of this paper is to design and construct multiband compact micro strip patch antenna with improved performance for internet of things (IoT) and industrial, scientific and medical (ISM) applications, implementing CST or Computer Simulation Technology [1]. In this paper we have created and examined a micro strip patch antenna that operates at multiple frequencies range of possibilities. It has a smaller size, wider bandwidth, excellent gain, better return loss and is highly efficient [2]. To create the desired design we have utilized a 50 Ohm micro strip transmission line or feed line for creating the antenna. A 28x28mm FR-4 substrate that has a thickness of 3mm and a specific dielectric constant epsilon is of 4.6 utilized [3]. While analyzing the design we founded it is very robust and effective for IoT and industrial, scientific and medical (ISM) applications at a resonance frequencies of 6.9959GHz, 7.7479GHz and 8.6880GHz with outstanding return loss of -25.09dB, -48.84.1dB and -17.78dB, excellent antenna directivity 7.509dBi, 6.3954dBi and 6.56dBi and VSWR 1.1179, 1.0072 and 1.2965 along with the bandwidths 261.80MHz, 280.40MHz and 345.90MHz respectively.
