An overview of floating solar PV energy in onshore waters
The main objective of the present paper is to develop an overview of floating solar PV energy in onshore waters. Floating solar energy can be developed in offshore or onshore waters. However, these two technologies present differences, such as use of space, energy performance, design of the structure, electrical installation, environmental impact, cost and regulation, operation and maintenance and security. This work can be useful in the future in order to know the main characteristics of these technologies.
