GeoShield: An Advanced Multi-View Framework for Landslide Prediction Using SAR and IoT Data
Recent advancements and studies in the field of geology emphasize Landslide prediction and real-time alerts. Researchers have made various prediction systems but never exploited the potential of Imagery satellites, most of these rely on historical data and basic sensors. Also, traditional approaches fail to give real-time alerts, which are crucial during catastrophic events. GeoShield is tailored to combat such constraints. It is an amalgamation of SAR i.e. our sensors and cameras, thus enhancing our predictive and alert systems. We employ numerous approaches but most significantly utilize, machine learning and this fusion effectively illuminates high-resolution data, which provides ample coverage even during minimal visibility. We conducted various experiments across a variety of datasets, surpassing traditional setups.
