Circular Spokes Frequency Reconfigurable Antenna For S/C/X/K/Ku-Band
This project presents the design and analysis of a reconfigurable antenna utilizing a PIN diode for frequency reconfiguration. The proposed antenna consists of a circular patch integrated with spokes. A PIN diode is placed within the slot configuration to enable switching between different operational modes. This allows the antenna to dynamically adjust its resonance characteristics and supports multiple bands. The reconfiguration mechanism is controlled by biasing the PIN diode. The antenna design is optimized for applications in modern wireless communication systems. The antenna is operated in the C-Band, X-Band and Ku-Band. Simulation results validate the design, demonstrating its capability to operate efficiently across various bands with minimal performance degradation. Antenna design is developed by using HFSS tool and results are simulated.
