Analysis of Feeding Structure of Wide Band Antenna for Wireless Application

In this paper a coplanar Vivaldi antenna, examining it in conjunction with three distinct feeding techniques. Furthermore, a modified Vivaldi antenna is developed and manufactured using the same feeding network, aiming to boost its gain without enlarging the antenna's physical dimensions. The proposed antenna operates within a frequency range of 2.3GHz to 13 GHz, maintaining an impedance bandwidth of the entire band. Its gain varies from 2 dBi to 9 dBi for the entire frequency range. An important feature of this design is its ability to modify the ground plane's dimensions with minimal impact on the antenna's impedance bandwidth and overall size. This adaptability enhances the antenna's overall performance. The dimensions of the proposed structure are 36x43x0.831mm3.
