UAV-to-UAV Communication in Sustainable Smart Cities: Free Space Path Loss Analysis for Urban Development
Unmanned Ariel Vehicle (UAV) wireless communication remains essential for smart cities because it delivers effective network coverage which enhances surveillance together with connectivity and disaster management systems. The system manages applications for traffic observation and environmental monitoring with emergency response functions to guarantee fast data transfer which enhances urban governance. UAVs serve as a connection tool in remote areas as well as high-density locations to optimize smart city infrastructure. UAVs assist authorities in monitoring and, thereby, enhancing decision-making and resource allocation for sustainability, smart resource utilization, and quality in smart cities. In this paper, the authors presented a basic model for UAV-to-UAV communication. With the introduction of 5G, the communication range is extended. Additionally, the incorporation of AI-based relaying enhances the received power, preventing it from dropping below the threshold. Furthermore, smart city applications and primary technologies for the successful implementation of UAVs for the urban development are discussed in detail. Lastly, simulation results justify the effectiveness of proposed techniques.
