Abstract

As such, cognitive computing which uses Advance AI technology to replicate the operations of the human brain can transform the decision making process of the HR. The technology specific to human recursos can be useful to translate an large amount of data, predict behaviour and contribute with relevant data for strategic management of human resources. Cognitive computing helps in acquisition of talents by matching skills attained from social media profiles and resumes from the best talent. This approach makes it easier for the employee’s professional development and the training program to be customized. Also, the forthcoming evaluations are based on factual data and reduce the impact of the invaluable bias, which improves performance ratings. The four areas of cognitive computing shown above suggest ways through which its application in human resources departments can enhance organisational performance and employees’ management.
