Security of Dedicated Android Devices with Kiosk Mode
The growing need for secure and controlled device environments in sectors like retail, education, and corporate settings underscores the demand for robust kiosk-mode solutions. This research presents an Android application that transforms the standard devices into secure, dedicated kiosk systems. It locks devices to single or multiple apps, restricts access to system features, and uses password protection to prevent unauthorized access. Features include scheduled activation, automated restarts, and extensive customization to meet diverse needs. Compatible with Android 4.4 and above, the solution enhances security, operational efficiency, and user experience, making it a versatile tool for secure device management across industries.
