ESTIMULANTES RADICULARES PARA LA PRODUCCIÓN DE MAÍZ NATIVO DE LA RAZA PEPITILLA DEL ESTADO DE GUERRERO

Pepitilla, one of the 15 pure varieties identified and cultivated in Guerrero, faces primarily agronomic challenges, which is why sustainable alternatives such as arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) and botanical extracts have been explored. The experiment was conducted in communities in Cuetzala del Progreso, Guerrero. The experimental design was a randomized complete block split-plot arrangement with three replicates. The large plot consisted of two fertilizer doses, and the small plot included four biostimulants applied to the seed. At a statistical level, there were no differences between treatments in the variables plant height (PH), number of true leaves (TL), stem diameter (SDT), root length (RL) and number of roots (NR), however, in the variables days to male (DFM) and female (DFF), fresh root weight (FRW) and dry root weight (DRW) the values were outstanding when using Collision® (62 DFF), lentil (56.27 g and 24.87 g PRF) and aloe vera (57 DFM, 60.33 and 67 DFF and 9.80 g PRS) respectively. Statistically, in the multiple analysis of means, there were differences between communities, highlighting Chilacachapa in AP, NH, PH, DFM, PRF, PRS and NR. This indicates that the use of the evaluated stimulants did not influence the variables evaluated for this study area.
