Dynamic Time Slot TDMA Protocol of Underwater Acoustic Communication Network Based on Unmanned Mobile Cluster
To evaluate the impact of installing a vector sensor within an acoustic coating on the constrained surface of an underwater platform, a finite element simulation model of an acoustic coating with openings was developed. Numerical methods were employed to analyze the effects of the sensor's installation position and the opening radius on key performance parameters, including reception directivity and amplitude-phase characteristics. The results indicate that placing the vector sensor inside the opening enhances the main lobe peak of directivity while reducing side lobe interference. Moreover, an increase in the opening radius significantly influences the amplitude-phase characteristics in the high-frequency range. Experimental measurements corroborate the trends observed in numerical simulations. This study provides theoretical insights and experimental validation for the engineering application and optimization of vector sensors within acoustic coatings.
