ID: 4347179 MULTIPARAMETRIC RISK STRATIFICATION AND EHR-INTEGRATED INTERVENTION FOR POSTPARTUM CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASE PREVENTION IN WOMEN WITH HYPERTENSIVE DISORDERS OF PREGNANCY AND GESTATIONAL DIABETES MELLITUS
Women with a history of preeclampsia or gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) face a 2- to 4-fold increased risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD) compared to those with uncomplicated pregnancies. Despite clinical guidelines, fewer than 30% of high-risk women receive recommended postpartum CVD screening, leaving many vulnerable to undetected progression of heart disease.
