ID: 4310783 ROBUST ECG ANALYSIS ACROSS HOLTER AND PATCH DEVICES: A DEVICE-AGNOSTIC APPROACH
Although Holter and patch-based ambulatory monitoring devices can record ECGs from the same cardiac axis, differences in electrode proximity inherently affect signal characteristics. Patch devices, which offer improved comfort and extended wear time due to reduced electrode distance, often exhibit lower signal amplitudes, making QRS detection more challenging. A device-agnostic ECG analysis approach is essential for reliable beat and rhythm classification across ambulatory platforms.
