3D geological modeling and stability assessment based on the semi-airborne electromagnetic method
This study focuses on a slope unit in the Niangniangba town area of Tianshui, Gansu Province. Employing a multi-source data acquisition approach integrating “satellite-airborne-ground” techniques, we systematically conducted geomorphological analysis, engineering geological surveys, and stratigraphic distribution investigations. By synthesizing UAV aerial survey imagery, geotechnical exploration data, and geophysical survey results, we constructed a three-dimensional geological model that accurately represents both surface topography and subsurface structures. Using Geo-Studio simulation software, we performed three-dimensional stability numerical simulations of the slope unit. The findings demonstrate that subsurface structural characteristics exert a notable influence on the occurrence of non-apparent landslides. These conclusions provide theoretical support and practical guidance for the prediction and mitigation of non-apparent landslide hazards in similar geological environments.
