The application of magnetic prospecting in locating wellhead positions and determining burial depth
Magnetic prospecting is a common method used to determine the location and burial depth of underground magnetic bodies. This paper introduces a method for finding wellhead locations using magnetic anomalies, as well as a method for estimating the burial depth of wellheads. It points out that in the process of detecting underground wellhead locations and estimating burial depths, magnetic methods are very effective technical means. By analyzing magnetic anomalies, eliminating interference from surface magnetic bodies, and performing Euler deconvolution operations, it is possible to quickly infer the approximate location and burial depth of underground wellheads. This provides important information for engineering construction and oilfield operations. Moreover, this method is simple and rapid, making it very suitable for quickly determining the location and burial depth of underground magnetic body targets.
