Pseudo-random coding ultra-deep detection radar and its applications
The detection depth is a crucial performance metric for ultra-wideband ground-penetrating radar (GPR). Traditional carrier-free pulse GPR systems suffer from low average transmission power and limited detection depth. This paper proposes a novel pseudo-random coded GPR system that effectively enhances radar transmission power while achieving high resolution through matched filtering processing. Field experiments have demonstrated that this radar system achieves a detection depth exceeding 100 meters, showing great advantages compared to traditional radar systems.
