Secondly, by conducting three-dimensional numerical simulations on typical embankment models, the distribution characteristics of physical parameters at different times were obtained. The system analyzed the impact of changes in the size and location of leakage hazards on the resolution of the time-lapse resistivity method, providing reasonable size parameters for the construction of small-scale physical models. Subsequently, three-dimensional numerical simulations and proportional small-scale physical model experiments were conducted on typical embankment leakage hazards. By setting up multiple time-varying resistivity measurement lines, the characteristics of changes in the internal geoelectric field of the embankment at different stages of hazard development under water level changes were monitored; Using interpolation technology to achieve 3D visualization, the development process of leakage hazards in embankments was dynamically tracked. Abstract

This study investigates the application of time-lapse resistivity method for detecting and monitoring seepage hazards in embankments. first constructed a three-dimensional numerical model of embankment leakage hazards. Based on the theory of seepage field and stable electric field, a multi physical field coupling equation and boundary conditions for the embankment hazard model were established. The finite element infinite element discretization method was used to propose a multi field coupling three-dimensional simulation technology for the embankment model. Finally, based on the time series data of electrical resistivity in a key dangerous section of a connected embankment in Yongxiu County, Jiangxi Province, combined with numerical simulation and model test results, the effectiveness and accuracy of the time-lapse resistivity method in tracking leakage hazards in embankments were verified.
