Integrating remote sensing and electrical resistivity for assessing coastal dynamics and saltwater intrusion along the eastern coast of Ghana
This study explores the connection between shoreline evolution and saltwater intrusion by integrating remote sensing and geophysical techniques. The results indicate that shoreline changes significantly influence saltwater intrusion, with eroding areas experiencing higher intrusion levels. By combining these approaches, the study offers a comprehensive framework for coastal monitoring, highlighting the need for interdisciplinary methods in coastal management and freshwater resource conservation.
