Application of transient electromagnetic method in near surface velocity investigation in Loess Plateau area

The surface gullies of the Loess Plateau are crisscrossed, and the near surface velocity varies greatly in both vertical and horizontal directions. The near surface velocity investigation research with Transient Electromagnetic Method was conducted in this area. The results show that Transient Electromagnetic method is a relatively effective near surface velocity investigation method in the loess plateau area.

Abstract

The surface gullies of the Loess Plateau are crisscrossed, and the near surface velocity varies greatly in both vertical and horizontal directions. The near surface velocity investigation research with Transient Electromagnetic Method was conducted in this area. The results show that Transient Electromagnetic method is a relatively effective near surface velocity investigation method in the loess plateau area.
