ID: 4347500 BIOTRONIK BIOMONITOR IV SIGNALS FOR AUTOMATED REMOTE QTC ANALYSIS: EVIDENCE FROM THE SAFEBEAT SOFTWARE PLATFORM
Estimates indicate that over 10.5 million adults in the US are affected by AF, which is expected to rise as care improves and lifespan increases. Implantable cardiac monitors (ICM), such as the BIOTRONIK BIOMONITOR IV (BMIV), provide continuous long term ECG monitoring of AF patients’ heart rhythm but are primarily used for diagnostic purposes. This study proposes enhanced remote cardiac monitoring of AF patients using SafeBeat’s software for QTc analysis of BMIV ECGs.
