ID: 4340773 ELECTROCARDIOGRAPHY FROM DEEPER SLEEP BETTER PREDICTS ATRIAL FIBRILLATION RISK
ECG-based artificial intelligence (ECG-AI) can detect atrial fibrillation (AF) even during normal sinus rhythm. Sleep is associated with modulations of the sympathetic and parasympathetic control of cardiac dynamics, which can be reflected in the ECG. Whether sleep ECG would yield comparable predictions to awake ECG has not been studied.
