Relasi Studi Ontologi Dan Epistemologi Islam Terhadap Tauhid
Tauhid is a central principle in Islam that not only shapes individual faith but also serves as a metaphysical foundation in the structure of Islamic knowledge. However, in the development of modern philosophy of science, the relationship between tauhid, ontology, and epistemology is often fragmented. This study aims to examine tauhid as a metaphysical principle influencing the ontological foundations of Islamic epistemology. Employing a qualitative method with a philosophical-critical library research approach, this study draws upon both classical and contemporary Islamic intellectual sources. The findings indicate that tauhid not only affirms divine oneness but also shapes the Islamic worldview on reality and the origin of knowledge. Tauhid gives rise to methodological principles such as the rejection of contradiction, openness to new truths, and the integration of reason and revelation. The novelty of this research lies in its systematic approach to tauhid as a metaphysical foundation of science, rather than merely a theological doctrine. Therefore, this study provides an alternative framework for developing a rational, transcendental, and integrated Islamic epistemology.
