Maqasid Dalam Pespektif Ulama Tafsir

The background of this research lies in the increasing number of studies on Tafsir Maqasidi and the proliferation of theories and concepts regarding Tafsir Maqasidi. However, there is still room for debate among intellectuals who promote it. The purpose of this research is to understand maqasid from the perspective of tafsir scholars. The research method employs a literature review approach based on previous scientific journals focused on achieving findings about maqasid from the perspective of tafsir scholars. Through this literature review approach, this study identifies general theories about maqasid from the perspective of tafsir scholars. The research uses a literature review method with data collection techniques from literature studies. Data was collected from various journals, articles, and official documents related to maqasid from the perspective of exegesis scholars, transparency, and accountability. The research results highlight the areas of debate or issues that are still being debated. This is based on the author's observations of the literature and studies that have developed from the beginning until now regarding Tafsir Maqasidi. Some of the debated issues discussed in this article appear to have been resolved and agreed upon by the intellectuals who champion them, but others remain debated and unresolved, from the past to the present. This paper aims to demonstrate that the theory of Tafsir Maqasidi is not a final theory but one that continues to grow and develop, ultimately becoming a theory of Qur’anic interpretation that can provide relevant answers to the various challenges and developments of the times.
