Reconstruction of f(T) gravity with generalized holographic dark energy: Matter creation and cosmic acceleration from truncated scale factors
The work reported here discusses cosmological matter creation within the framework of reconstructed [Formula: see text] gravity, by employing three distinct scale factor evolution schemes: hybrid, linearly truncated hybrid, and quadratically truncated hybrid forms. Utilizing the generalized holographic dark energy (GHDE) model, a particular case of a more generalized Nojiri–Odintsov holographic dark energy (The European Physical Journal C, 2017, 77, pp. 1–8), we reconstruct the torsion-based gravitational action [Formula: see text] and analyze its evolution with cosmic time. The study incorporates thermodynamically consistent matter creation mechanisms by introducing an effective creation pressure [Formula: see text], where [Formula: see text] denotes the particle creation rate. We consider three functional forms of [Formula: see text], including linear and quadratic dependencies on the Hubble parameter. The findings show that the reconstructed models produce negative creation pressure during cosmic evolution, aligning with the behavior of dark energy and promoting faster expansion. With implications for late-time cosmic acceleration and thermodynamic stability, the results imply that matter creation in [Formula: see text] gravity, a viable alternative to dark energy.
