Repurposing follicular unit extraction punches for excision of ice pick acne scars
We describe a novel use of follicular unit extraction (FUE) punches for precise excision of ice pick acne scars. Offering fine diameter control and excellent sharpness retention, FUE punches allow more accurate scar matching and efficient treatment of multiple lesions. This technique provides a practical surgical option with favourable cosmetic outcomes.
