Development of a procedure for assessing the possibility of timely release of a scientific publication

The object of research: the publishing process of a scientific publication. Investigated problem: ensuring the specified deadline for the release of the current issue of the publication. The main scientific results: a criterion for assessing the risk of untimely release is proposed, which can be an element of the procedure for assessing the actual state of the publishing process. The area of practical use of the results of the study: scientific publishing. Innovative technological product: a procedure for assessing the possibility of timely release is proposed, based on the implementation of 5 steps and the use of a risk calculation criterion. Using this procedure, it is possible to identify bottlenecks in the publishing process and take reasonable management or organizational measures. The scope of the innovative technological product: scientific journal publishing processes aimed at minimizing risks that may entail sanctions from global scientific periodical indexing resources.
