Terahertz spectroscopic characterization of Ge 3 Sb 2 Te 6 compounds for active applications

Using THz time-domain spectroscopy, we measure the refractive index and conductivity of Ge 3 Sb 2 Te 6 in the THz, which exhibits lower losses throughout the metal-to-insulator transition and higher thermal robustness than the commonly used Ge 2 Sb 2 Te 5 .
