Ayurvedic Management of Oral Lichen Planus (Charma Kushta): A Case-Based Approach

Oral Lichen Planus (OLP) is a persistent inflammatory disorder primarily targeting the oral mucosa. While modern medicine attributes its etiology to immune dysregulation, Ayurveda identifies similar pathological features under the classification of Charma Kushtha, a subtype of Kshudra Kushtha. This article explores the Ayurvedic perspective of OLP and presents a case study evaluating the efficacy of Ayurvedic management through internal medications, external applications, and lifestyle modifications.
