PEMANFAATAN GOOGLE SPREADSHEET SEBAGAI LOGBOOK PEMINJAMAN DAN PENGEMBALIAN ALAT LABORATORIU ELEKTRONIKA DI POLITEKNIK PENERBANGAN MEDAN

A Logbook is a form of report notebook that contains recorder activity data for the purpose of providing information and reporting material. Logbooks are generally found in the workplace, classroom, laboratory or in places used to record objectives, types of goods and so on. The role of the Logbook is as a place to manage activities and as evidence of reports. In the era of industry 4.0, information technology is developing very fast, sophisticated and completely digital, but currently Logbook records for borrowing and returning laboratory equipment are still written by hand manually and there are still some who have not implemented it digitally. Therefore, it is necessary to apply Google Spreadsheet as a digital Logbook for borrowing and returning laboratory equipment, especially at the Medan Aviation Polytechnic with the aim that data and reports are stored safely and can reduce negligence on the part of the parties involved in the process of borrowing and returning laboratory equipment. The research method uses observation, library research and system implementation in the electronics laboratory of the Medan Aviation Polytechnic. With a digital-based Logbook using Google Spreadsheet, laboratory staff can obtain information quickly and precisely to find out who is borrowing and returning laboratory equipment online.
