PENGARUH MOTIVASI TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN DI PT YIH QUAN FOOTWEAR INDONESIA
This study seeks to examine the influence of motivation on employee performance at PT Yih Quan Footwear Indonesia, while also identifying factors that hinder motivation and proposing solutions to address these challenges. In today's industrial landscape, optimal employee performance is crucial, and both intrinsic and extrinsic motivation are essential in enhancing this performance. The research employed quantitative methods, involving 35 employees from PT Yih Quan Footwear Indonesia located in Batang Regency, Central Java. Data was gathered through a questionnaire comprising 20 questions. The results of the t-test revealed a calculated t value of 6.714, which exceeds the t table value of 1.6692, with a significance level of 0.001 (below 0.05), indicating a significant effect of motivation on performance. The regression coefficient of 0.563 suggests that a 1% increase in motivation correlates with a 0.563 increase in performance. The findings from the Linearity Test indicate a Deviation from Linearity value of 0.472, which is greater than 0.05, confirming a linear relationship between the independent and dependent variables. Factors that inhibit motivation include ineffective communication, pressure from high performance targets, and insufficient intrinsic motivation. To mitigate these issues, the researchers recommend enhancing communication, balancing workloads, and establishing clear career advancement opportunities. This research aims to contribute to initiatives aimed at improving employee performance within the organization. Keyword : performance, employee performance, motivation
