Synthesis of luminescent dinaphthopentacene isomers and their application in OLEDs
We report on the synthesis of two novel nanographenes, syn - and anti -dinaphthopentacene. This small variation in structure leads to stark differences in structural and photophysical properties as well as OLED device efficiency.
