Low-Code/No-Code Integration Platforms: Transforming Digital Innovation in Banking

This article examines the transforming effects of low-code/no-code integration platforms on the banking sector. Financial institutions rapidly take advantage of these techniques so that digital changes can be accelerated by navigating the intricate regulatory environment and heritage infrastructure obstacles. Through the discovery of implementation strategies and results, the article shows how these platforms enable cross-functional cooperation, reduce technical debt, and improve customer experiences. Major findings highlight adequate benefits in development efficiency, operational agility and customer onboarding, lending operations, compliance management, and innovation capacity in service automation. Implementation pattern - Bridge and expansion, process automation, and innovation accelerator - a separate approach to different organizational contexts. Cultural and governance views emerge as important success factors, with organizations addressing these dimensions receiving much higher returns on their investment. Evidence suggests that low-code/no-code platforms represent a fundamental paradigm change in how banking solutions are conceptualized, created, and deployed in response to market demands and customers' expectations.
