The Life Practice and Intellectual Exploration of a Budding Chinese Psychobiographer
I was born into a rural family in Qingdao, China, in 1993, with an older brother and a ten-year younger sister. My home is nestled deep within the hills along the coast of the Jiaodong Peninsula, a place of serene beauty, poverty, and tranquility. I often spent my days playing outdoors, watching a small puddle, running wild in the fields, catching fish with a glass cup, picking flowers on the ridges, watching the white cranes take flight by the lake, and climbing to the mountaintops to gaze at the distant coastline. These activities could keep me preoccupied for an entire afternoon. My hometown’s complex and diverse geography, coupled with its distinct seasons, has left me with profound joy.
