Research on Time Resources of Radar Based on Multi-target Detection Task
The detection data rate and corresponding time resources of phased array radar constrain the ability to track multiple targets. Under limited resources, most research focuses on breaking through intelligent algorithms to scientifically arrange task priorities and ensure resource scheduling for important tasks. This article focuses on improving the detection capability of radar for more targets under limited tracking data rate conditions. It mainly uses dual band RF antenna common aperture and two backend processing systems to double the entire detection time resources of dual band radar. We can also transmit the waveform 1 when tracking and detecting a batch of distant targets. Without waiting for the target echo to be received, then immediately transmit the waveform 2 to detect close range targets, thus achieving the goal of nested tracking to further improve the utilization of time resources. In order to improve the utilization of system time resources, the article presents the core method and implementation of dual band nested waveform tracking, and conducts simulation verification.
