Transforming Education Through the Metaverse: Immersive Technologies and Gamification for Skill Development

This study of Manna_Team research group explores the potential of immersive technologies, particularly the Metaverse and Virtual Reality, to enhance education by integrating gamification and innovative methodologies. The SpatialVerse and DroneVerse environments were developed to simulate diverse scenarios, enabling students to acquire technical, socio-emotional, and cognitive skills through safe and engaging activities. Evaluations with educators highlighted positive outcomes, including increased student engagement, motivation, and practical skill development. These findings underscore the transformative role of immersive technologies in creating interactive and relevant educational experiences, preparing students for modern challenges.
