SDR Implemented Algorithm for Real-Time Intra-Pulse Modulated Radar Signal Analysis
This paper proposes an algorithm for detecting and recognizing intra-pulse modulated radar signals based on software-defined radio (SDR). The proposed algorithm is divided into two sub-processes. The first sub-process solves the problem of detecting signals under noise conditions. The second is used for recognition. First, the functionality of the proposed method was tested with simulated signals in MATLAB. Then, the algorithm's performance was implemented and verified with real-time signals using SDR. The simulated and experimental results showed that the proposed algorithm could recognize intra-pulse modulated signals such as linear frequency modulation (LFM), Barker, and Costas signals under strong noise conditions. Also, the proposed method can be implemented in an actual system.
