Optimizing Phase Shift and Location for AAV-Assisted IoV Networks with IRS and MIMO
This paper proposes an autonomous aerial vehicle (AAV) mounted intelligent reflective surface (IRS)-assisted MIMO communication system for intelligent connected vehicles (ICVs), aiming to enhance signal coverage and communication link stability through joint phase-shift design and position optimization. To support the advantages of the modeled joint air-to-ground integration model, we propose a joint optimization problem involving phase-shift design and AAV position deployment, which models the sum of weighted transmission rates (WTRs) problem. Considering the high-dimensional non-convex nature of the sum of WTRs problem, we introduce the Lagrangian dyadic transform and ant colony algorithm for phase-shift design and AAV location optimization, respectively, to derive the optimal phase-shift design closed-form solution and the optimal coordinate solution in our study. Finally, according to the simulation results, compared with the existing schemes, the proposed scheme performs well in improving the sum of WTRs.
