Secure Repair Techniques for Embedded Operating Systems Based on Trusted Cloud Environments

As an embedded system with similar computer architecture, its operating environment is changeable, resources are limited, and tasks overlap among adjacent nodes, resulting in memory fragmentation when processing complex tasks, which makes the system need to defend against both physical and software attacks. Software-based control flow inspection adds additional staking codes to each basic block and fails to take into account the compromised data of the entire system, making the repair success rate low. The dimensions of embedded operating system security repair are refined, and the levels and strategies of repair are determined based on the characteristics of embedded operating system security vulnerabilities. By replacing PM codes with random blocks, a trusted cloud environment is constructed. In combination with regenerative code technology, a secure reconstruction of the regenerative code is carried out to repair and restore the damaged data of the embedded operating system in the trusted cloud environment, and the credibility of the execution of the regenerative code after the embedded system equipment is powered on is ensured. Separate different security domains according to the principle of least permission, isolate and repair the internal vulnerabilities of the operating system, and realize the security repair of the embedded operating system at the isolation and repair level. The experimental results show that this technology has better safety repair effect and can be applied in real life.
