Airborne Radar Imaging of Single Moving Ship via GQPSO and Gabor Wavelet Transform
Airborne radar imaging is crucial for monitoring moving ships in maritime surveillance. However, the complex translational and rotational motions of ships severely degrade radar image quality. This paper proposes an efficient imaging algorithm for single-target moving ship combining Gaussian Quantum Particle Swarm Optimization (GQPSO) and Gabor wavelet transform for translational and rotational compensation, respectively. For translational compensation, GQPSO is used to estimate motion parameters based on a minimum entropy cost function, ensuring high precision while significantly reducing computational complexity. Subsequently, the Gabor wavelet transform is applied to further optimize the image using its excellent time-frequency analysis capability for rotational motion compensation. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm effectively improves the clarity of moving ship images.
