The Impact of Digitalization on the Workforce, Productivity and Efficiency of Companies
Digitalization is the process of integrating digital technologies into all aspects of business and everyday life. In recent decades, digital technologies such as the Internet, automation and artificial intelligence have radically changed the way companies function in business processes. The aim of this research is to examine the impact of employees' digital literacy on the productivity and efficiency of companies and to analyze how the adaptation of digital technologies can improve business processes and the competitiveness of companies in the market. Four hypotheses were investigated regarding the impact of digital tools and technology on the productivity and efficiency of employees within a company. Statistical analyses confirmed that there is a significant positive correlation between the digital adaptation of a company, investment in digital education, the frequency of use of digital tools in the work of digitalization within the team and the perceived productivity and efficiency of employees. The research focuses on analyzing how the level of digital literacy affects the ability of employees to quickly adopt and apply technologies, which directly affects the productivity and efficiency of companies.
