Design and Analysis of Complementary Cascode Current Mirror Based Physically Unclonable Function Using 65nm Predictive Technology Model
Physically unclonable functions (PUF) are important primitive for hardware-based security. An improved PUF cell based on Complementary Cascode Current Mirror with Muller-C element is proposed. Analysis for different PUF parameters is done including native bit stability, bit alias, uniqueness, and uniformity against varied temperature and voltage range. The design and simulation are carried out in LTSpice using 65nm Predictive Technology Model. The proposed design stands out in terms of unstable bits and is good as to available designs in terms of uniqueness and uniformity.
